Setting Up Your Account
Welcome to Surva.ai
Getting started with Surva.ai takes just a few minutes. This guide walks you through the initial setup process so you can start tracking your AI visibility right away.
Step 1: Create Your Account
If you have not already, sign up at surva.ai/start-trial. You can register with your email address or sign in with Google.
Step 2: Add Your Brand
After signing in, you will be prompted to add your first brand:
- Enter your brand name (e.g., "Acme Corp")
- Enter your website domain (e.g., "acme.com")
- Click Create Brand
Your brand name and domain are used to identify mentions across AI platforms and search results.
Step 3: Add Keywords to Track
Keywords are the queries you want to monitor. Add keywords that:
- Describe your products or services
- Represent topics your customers search for
- Include your brand name and variations
Start with 5-10 high-priority keywords. You can always add more later.
Step 4: Add Competitors
Track how competitors appear alongside you in AI and search results:
- Go to Competitors in the sidebar
- Click Add Competitor
- Enter their domain name
We recommend adding 3-5 direct competitors to start.
Step 5: Wait for Initial Data
After setup, Surva.ai begins collecting data. Initial results typically appear within 24 hours. Full data across all platforms may take 1-2 days.
What Happens Next?
Once data collection completes, you can:
- View your AI visibility dashboard
- See where your brand appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI
- Compare your visibility against competitors
- Set up alerts for important changes
