AI Intelligence Card Explained

The AI Intelligence card on your dashboard provides a snapshot of your brand's visibility across AI-powered search platforms. Here's what each element means.

Your Share of AI Results

The large percentage at the top shows your AI Share of Voice - the percentage of AI mentions where your brand appears compared to all tracked competitors.

  • 20% means you appear in 20% of AI responses across your keywords
  • This is calculated from the latest snapshots only (not historical)
  • Higher is better - aim to grow this over time

Competitor Comparison

Below your percentage, you'll see how you compare to the top competitor:

  • "Leading [Competitor] by X pts" - You have more visibility
  • "Trailing [Competitor] by X pts" - They have more visibility

This helps you quickly understand your relative position.

AI Mentions Tracked

The badge shows:

  • Total AI mentions tracked - Number of times your brand was found in AI responses
  • New AI Overviews this week - Recent Google AI Overview appearances

This counts only mentions where YOUR brand appears, not total AI queries.

Where You Appear

The platform breakdown shows which AI engines mention your brand:

  • ChatGPT - OpenAI's ChatGPT mentions
  • Perplexity - Perplexity AI mentions
  • Claude - Anthropic Claude mentions
  • Gemini - Google Gemini mentions

Each shows a count of mentions on that platform.

Understanding the Numbers

Important context for interpreting these metrics:

  • Latest data only - Shows current state, not historical totals
  • Per keyword - Each keyword can have one mention per platform
  • Your brand only - Only counts mentions where YOUR brand appears

When Numbers Seem Low

If your AI mentions seem lower than expected:

  • AI platforms may not mention any brand for some queries
  • Your brand name must appear in the AI's response text
  • Generic queries often don't trigger brand mentions
  • Focus on comparison and recommendation keywords

Improving Your Numbers

To increase AI visibility:

  1. Create comprehensive content on topics you want to own
  2. Get cited by authoritative sources
  3. Ensure consistent brand information across the web
  4. Target question-based and comparison keywords
