Setting Up Your Brand Profile

Your brand profile is the foundation of accurate tracking in Surva.ai. The platform uses your brand name and domain to identify mentions across AI platforms and search results.

Why Brand Setup Matters

Surva.ai searches for your brand in AI responses by matching:

  • Your brand name in AI-generated text
  • Your domain in citations and links
  • Common variations and misspellings

Accurate brand information ensures you don't miss any mentions.

Creating Your Brand Profile

To set up your brand:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Brand Profile
  2. Enter your Brand Name - Use your official company name as customers would search for it
  3. Enter your Domain - Your primary website (without https://)
  4. Select your Country - This affects which Google region we monitor
  5. Optionally add a Brand Description - Used for AI content generation
  6. Click Save Brand Profile

Brand Name Best Practices

Choose your brand name carefully:

  • Use your common name - If customers say "Surva" not "Surva.ai Inc.", use "Surva"
  • Avoid generic terms - A name like "Software" will match too many false positives
  • Consider variations - Surva.ai also tracks "Surva" and "surva.io"

Multi-Brand Support (Agency Feature)

If you manage multiple brands (common for agencies), you can add additional brands:

  1. Click the brand switcher in the top navigation
  2. Click Add New Brand
  3. Complete the brand profile for the new brand
  4. Switch between brands using the brand switcher

Each brand has completely separate data - keywords, competitors, and visibility metrics are isolated.

Own Brand Tracking

When you create a brand, Surva.ai automatically creates an "own brand" competitor record. This allows you to:

  • See your brand in the competitor comparison charts
  • Track your AI visibility percentage vs competitors
  • Monitor your organic rankings alongside competitors
